Platform Technical Specifications: Full-Field Peripheral Blood Smear Application
The Full-Field Peripheral Blood Smear Application runs on two imaging platforms designed for different laboratory environments: the Scopio X100 for lower-volume labs and the Scopio X100HT for high-throughput settings.
Both platforms deliver Full-Field imaging of all clinically relevant areas of the peripheral blood smear at 100x resolution, with an AI-powered Decision Support System for WBC pre-classification, RBC morphology evaluation, and platelet pre-estimation. The key differences are in throughput, slide handling, and storage capacity.
- X100: 3-slide tray, up to 15 slides per hour, manual oil drop and coverslip, 2TB storage (up to 1,500 scanned samples)
- X100HT: 30-slide capacity across 3 cassettes, up to 40 slides per hour, automated oil drop and coverslip, 8TB storage (up to 4,500 scanned samples)
Both platforms support all Romanowsky stains, browser-based remote review through the secure hospital network, LIS integration, and ICSH-standard digital reporting.
