Scopio Labs Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our” or “Scopio”) respects the right to privacy of our website users (“User(s)” or “you”). Your ability to make informed choices about the use of your information is important to us.   2. Your Acknowledgment of This Policy

    This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) details how your Personal Information collected via the Site is used and processed by Scopio. By entering, connecting to, accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you are or have had the opportunity to become aware of this Privacy Policy and Scopio’s practices described herein.

  3. Information We Collect

    We may collect two types of data and information from our Users:

    1. Non-personal Information. The first type is non-identifiable and anonymous information. Non-personal Information is any unconcealed information which does not enable identification of an individual User, and which is available to us while such User is entering into and/or using the Site (“Non-personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of the User from whom we have collected the Non-personal Information.

      You may access and browse the Site without disclosing personal information, although, like most websites, we passively collect certain Non-personal Information from your devices when you access and browse our Site, including: (i) technical information such as the type and version of your device and its operating system, the type of browser, screen resolution, device browser and keyboard language, Wi-Fi connectivity and the type and name of your device and/or browser, etc.; and (ii) behavioral information which may include the User’s click-stream on the Site, the activities of the User on the Site and additional information of a similar nature (collectively, “Technical and Behavioral Information”). We may also use third-party service providers such as Google Analytics to obtain detailed analytics on the device and the User’s behavior on the Site. Please note that we or our third-party service providers will collect such Technical and Behavioral Information by using certain technologies such as cookies, as further detailed below.

    2. Personal Information. The second type of information is individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”). This information may identify an individual or may be of a private and/or sensitive nature, and includes:
      1. Personal Information which is provided consciously and voluntarily:
        1. Forms: We may collect and process any Personal Information voluntarily provided by you while contacting us via the several forms available on the Site, including, without limitation, company name, e-mail address, telephone number, country, etc. In addition, you may optionally provide via the “Contact us” any text you wish to insert into the “message” box. Additional information may be requested via the “Contact us” in the future. In addition, several forms may include additional relevant information such as, but not limited to, information about the company’s Laboratory operations, company expected volume of relevant activity etc., in order to provide the best suited response.
        2. Communication with Scopio: Personal Information is collected from the details the Users provide as part of any communications with Scopio, by any means, including without limitation, by email, telephone, or through our social media pages or otherwise.
        3. Newsletter and other commercial materials: You may voluntarily provide us with your contact details in order to receive commercial materials from Scopio and our partners.
        4. Personal Information relating to job applicants: In addition, we may collect, process and store Personal Information sent to us for recruitment purposes, such as education, resume, experience etc. Please note that we may also collect similar data relating to you from public sources, such as publicly available social network pages and public databases. The Personal Information collected as part of the application process, including any Personal Information included in your resume, may be accessed by our HR department and/or by Scopio’s managers, worldwide, solely for the purposes of evaluation and to enable us to contact you with respect to the recruitment process.If you submit an application on behalf of a third party, you hereby acknowledge that such third-party was made aware of this Privacy Policy and has granted their consent to the processing of their Personal Information by Scopio.Scopio will retain Personal Information collected from applicants solely for the period that is necessary for the purposes set forth under this Privacy Policy or for the maximum statutory period in which a claim with respect to the recruitment process may be brought against Scopio. Please note that if you have successfully recruited to work for Scopio, any Personal Information collected as part of the application process may be retained by Scopio for the purposes of your employment.
      2. Personal Information collected via technology:
        1. Identifiers: during your use of the Site, we will access, collect, process, monitor and/or remotely store online identifiers, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, your Unique Device Identifier (UDID), or other unique identifiers for security purposes and analytics.
        2. Geolocation data: during your use of the Site, we will access, collect, process, monitor and/or remotely store “geolocation data”, including through the collection of IP addresses and other similar information to determine your location for analytics and security purposes.
        3. Technical and Behavioral Information: to the extent that the Technical and Behavioral Information detailed above will be linked to or associated with a specific individual then such information will be considered as Personal Information.
      3. Information from other sources:
        1. We also obtain information from other sources, which may include, but not limited to, publicly-available sources, information provided by third parties which helps us determine your location based on your IP address and data providers, such as Google Analytics, from which we obtain demographic information.

    Please note:

    We may cross-reference your Personal Information with other Personal Information we may have about you. Any Non-personal Information connected or linked to or associated with any Personal Information shall be deemed as Personal Information as long as such connection, linkage or association exists.

    We use third-party tracking services and usage logs, to track and analyze data from users of the Site and for purposes of security and fraud prevention. We may also use cookies to gather information regarding your use of the Site and the information for which you searched and accessed (for more information please see below). We may compile statistical information across a variety of users, in order to help us understand trends and customer needs. Statistical Information is anonymized and does not, in and of itself, contain any Personal Information.

  4. How do we collect information about our Users?

    There are a few main methods that we use in order to collect information:

    1. We collect information through your entry, connection, access and/or use of the Site. In other words, when you are using the Site, we are aware of it and may gather, collect and store the information relating to such usage. For example, when you use the Site, we gather your Technical and Behavioral Information.
    2. We collect information which you decide to provide us voluntarily. For example, we collect Personal Information that you provide via the “Contact us” tab on our Site.
    3. We collect information from public sources. We may supplement Personal Information that we collect about you with information which you have made public on websites associated with you or your company or on social media platforms such as LinkedIn.We may gather, collect and store such information either independently or through the help of our authorized third-party service providers as detailed below.
  5. Cookies Usage

    We and/or our authorized third party service providers may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close the web-browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on the User’s device until he/she deletes them). A “persistent” cookie may be used to help save your settings and customizations across visits.

    Most devices and browsers will allow you to erase Cookies from your device’s hard drive, block acceptance of Cookies, or receive a warning before a Cookie is stored on your device. Please note that some features of the Site may not function properly when Cookies are disabled or removed.

  6. How We Use Information

    We use the Personal Information in order to:

    1. enable the operation and constant improvement of the Site;
    2. respond to your inquiries, requests, comments and suggestions;
    3. add your contact details to our mailing list for the purposes of sending you information about our products and services by email, SMS, or through web-browser notification. You have the right to opt-out of such messages at any time by following the instructions in such messages or by contacting us at: info@scopiolabs.com;
    4. keep the site safe and secured and for prevention of fraud and crime;
    5. comply with our legal obligations and in order to be able to protect our rights; and
    6. maintain our data processing records and general administrative purposes.

    We use Non-personal Information we receive in order to: (i) optimize how the Site is displayed to you and enhance the User’s experience while using the Site, (ii) keep the Site safe and secured against fraudulent and criminal activity; (iii) ensure that the content on the Site is presented in an optimal way for you and for your device (e.g. tablet, mobile phone); and (iv) for statistical and research purposes and for customization and improvement of our Site.

    In order for Scopio to process your Personal Information, as detailed herein, such processing must be justified by a “basis” for processing. Please note that the Personal Information processing activities detailed herein may be justified on the basis that:

    • the processing is based on your consent – where you provide us with your consent to process your Personal Information for one or more specific purposes. For instance, before we contact you for electronic marketing purposes, you will be asked to consent to our processing of your Personal Information for this purpose. If you choose not to provide your consent for such processing activities, or if you decide later on to revoke your consent, this will affect our ability to provide you with Scopio’s marketing materials;
    • the processing is necessary for performance of a contract to which you are party – generally the Personal Information that your provide to us voluntarily will be provided to us because you are interested in purchasing our products and services and will be processed by us in order to take steps, at your request, prior to entering into a contract with us. As such, we will process your contact details and Personal Information included in any job application submitted through the Site on this basis;
    • the processing is in our legitimate commercial interests – subject to your interests and fundamental rights, processing of Personal Information will take place pursuant to our legitimate interest in in offering our Users comfortable, effective and safe access to our Site. This shall include the processing of your Personal Information which is collected via technology (as detailed under Section 2 above) in order to personalize the Site, assist us in preventing crime and fraud and manage our internal operations. Where we rely on legitimate interests as a lawful basis, we carry out a balancing test to ensure that your interests, rights and freedoms do not override our legitimate interests;
    • the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation – we may process your Personal Information for disclosure of information to authorities and to comply with our legal obligations (e.g., paying taxes); and

  7. Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties

    We will not disclose, share, rent, or sell your Personal Information with third parties without your explicit consent, except when required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order or in the following cases:

    1. Scopio Personnel and Affiliates: Personal Information that we collect and process may be transferred to, or accessed by, personnel of Scopio and its affiliates, for the operation of the Site and to contact you for marketing and sales purposes. Please note that all Scopio personnel that will have access to your Personal Information are under an obligation of strict confidentiality with respect to such Personal Information.
    2. Service Providers: Please note that we may collect, hold and/or manage your Personal Information through Scopio’s authorized third parties’ vendors of certain products or services (such as, cloud services) (including, as applicable, their affiliates) solely and limited to providing us with such requested services, and not for any other purposes.     3. In addition, we may share Personal Information in the following cases: (a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request; (b) to enforce this Privacy Policy, including investigation of potential violations thereof, and to defend against any claims or demands asserted against us by you or on your behalf; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to respond to claims that contact information (e.g. name, e-mail address, etc.) of a third-party has been posted or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; (e) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Scopio, its Users or the general public; (f) by virtue of undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of the assets of Scopio, so long as such acquirer maintains the same privacy terms hereunder; or (g) pursuant to your explicit approval prior to the disclosure.

    For the avoidance of doubt, we may use Non-personal Information and transfer and disclose it to third parties, including without limitation for statistical, analytical and research purposes and for customization, developing and improvement of the Site with our commercial partners, pursuant to commercial terms that we determine in our sole discretion.

  8. Third Party Service Providers

    While using the Site we may be using third party service providers, who may collect, store and/or process the Personal Information detailed herein. Such third parties may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. Such third parties’ software or services may include without limitation the following categories of service providers:

    • Analytics Services: We may provide Non-Personal Information to Google Analytics and other analogous platform in order to receive an analysis of the use of our Site. We may provide non-Personal Information that we receive to Google Analytics in order to receive an analysis of the use of our Services. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this Service, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with Personal Information.     • Cloud Services, such as Amazon Web Services.
    • CRM Systems, such as HubSpot and SalesForce.

    We are not responsible for the use of any data by third parties, and we cannot vouch for the privacy policies of any third party. The Site may contain certain links to or use web sites or services belonging to third parties, which permit Users to leave our Site and enter non-Scopio sites or services. Those linked sites and services are provided solely as a convenience to you. We have no control over third-party sites or services, and all use of third-party sites or services is at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for the privacy policies of any such sites. We are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, services or other information available by means of such sites or services or any link contained in a linked site or service. We do not endorse any services offered by third parties and we urge our users to exercise caution in using third-party sites or services.

    Scopio reserves the right to terminate any link to any third party site or service at any time. You further acknowledge and agree that Scopio shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such linked sites or resource.

    Most of such linked sites and services provide legal documents, including terms of use and privacy policy, governing the use thereof. It is always advisable to read such documents carefully before using those sites and services, inter alia, in order to know what kind of information about you is being collected.

  10. Communications and Direct Marketing

    You hereby agree that we may use your contact details you provided us with (including, without limitation, e-mail address) for the purpose of providing you email or other commercial and/or non-commercial messages about us or our current and/or future services and/or activities, for example if you sign up for our newsletter.

    You can remove your Personal Information from our mailing list and to stop receiving future communication from us by following the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each communication or by emailing us at info@scopiolabs.com. You will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from commercial messages in any such email or communication we send.

    Please note that we reserve the right to send you service related communications, including service announcements and administrative messages, relating either to your account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them unless you cancel your account.

  11. Accessing, Correcting, Updating and Deleting your Information

    We acknowledge that applicable law may provide you with certain rights relating to your Personal Information, including the right to view the information you provided when contacting us and to alter or delete any data, inaccuracies or errors.     You may have the following rights (by virtue of EU and UK law) in respect of your Personal Information:

    • Right to access: you may have the right to request access to your Personal Information that is held by Scopio.
    • Right to rectification: if the Personal Information processed by Scopio is incorrect or incomplete, you may have the right to have your Personal Information rectified.
    • Right to erasure: under certain conditions, you may be entitled to require that Scopio deletes your Personal Information (e.g. if the continued processing of those data is not justified).
    • Right to portability: you may have the right to (i) receive the Personal Information concerning you, or (ii) transfer your Personal Information between data controllers (i.e. to transfer your Personal Information to another entity).   12. Data Retention

    We will retain and use your Personal Information for as long as we are confident that it is accurate and can be relied upon. Personal Information which is no longer required for the purpose for which it was initially collected will be deleted unless we have a valid justification to retain it which is permitted under applicable law, such as to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  13. Cross border Transfer of Personal Information

    The Personal Information collected from you by Scopio, as detailed in this Privacy Policy, may be transferred to, and stored in, servers which may be located in countries outside of your jurisdiction and in countries that are not considered to offer an adequate level of protection under your local laws. We may use service providers and transfer Personal Information to our affiliates that are located in countries other than your own, and send them information we receive. For example, we may send your information to countries such as the United States. Some countries may have levels of protection of personal and other information which are not as high as in your country of residence or business. Scopio is committed to protecting your Personal Information and will take appropriate steps to ensure that your Personal Information is processed and stored securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws, as detailed in this Privacy Policy. Such steps may include, but not limited to, putting in place data transfer agreements and ensuring our third-party service providers comply with Scopio’s data transfer protection measures.

    BY PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO SCOPIO, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT (IN JURISDICTION WHERE SUCH CONSENT IS REQUIRED) TO SUCH TRANSFER, STORING, PROCESSING AND/OR USE, INCLUDING TRANSFERS OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY OF YOUR RESIDENCE.

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time, and we encourage you to review it periodically. In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on the Site or we will send you an e-mail regarding such changes (to the extent that you provided us with such e-mail address). Such material changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our Site or sent to you via e-mail, whichever is earlier. Otherwise, all other changes to this Privacy Policy are effective as of the stated “Last updated” and your continued use of the Site on or after the Last updated date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes. In the event that the Privacy Policy should be amended to comply with any legal requirements, the amendments may take effect immediately, or as required by the law and without any prior notice.

    Scopio Labs Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our” or “Company”) values your privacy. In this Privacy Notice (the “Notice“) we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain through our use of the Comeet Platform (the “Platform”), which is powered by Comeet Technologies Inc. who developed and operates it. The Platform is a recruiting and applicant tracking platform for companies with positions they are recruiting for.     What Information Do We Collect About You?

    As part of the Company’s recruitment process, we collect and process information about you relating to your candidacy for positions with the Company you applied for through LinkedIn, recruiting agency or our website.

    Information that we process include: contact information, address, Curriculum Vitae (resumé) information (including information such as skills, work experience, education), notes submitted with the application, URL of your LinkedIn and other online profiles, the position for which you have been or are being considered, the source who submitted your candidacy (e.g., recruiting agency, referral), email correspondences between you and the Company and between the Company and other sources (such as recruiting agency and referrals)  about your candidacy, information from references, events in the lifecycle of your candidacy, your responses to questionnaires sent to you by the Company, information about your candidacy and employment options (such as availability to be hired and salary expectations), evaluations of your candidacy, internal discussions within the Company about your candidacy, materials you or other parties (such as evaluators or background check providers) submitted in relation to your candidacy. 

    To the extent that you submit your application via email or online, then, you are the main source of personal data. You do not have a legal duty to provide us with any information, and it is your choice whether to share your personal data with us. It should be noted that the information is necessary to allow the Company to be able to consider your candidacy for the position. Your personal data on the Platform can also originate from other sources, such as LinkedIn profile, recruitment agencies, headhunters, or referrals. 

    How Do We Use Your Information?

    We will use your personal data to evaluate and consider your candidacy for positions, and to contact you about job openings and your candidacy.

    Does the Company Share the Information It Collects About You?

    We may share the information that we collect about you as follows: 

    • We may share your general recruitment status with third parties (such as recruitment agencies, headhunters, etc..) who submitted your candidacy to the Company.
    • Indirect referrals. If you apply to a job opening using a unique referral link that was provided to you by an employee of the Company, we may share your general recruitment status, without identifying you by name, with the person that provided you the referral link.
    • We will share your Information if we are legally required.

    How Secure is My Personal Information?

    We have implemented commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, in accordance with industry practice and applicable laws. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.

    International Data Transfers

    We may transfer certain information outside to other countries, including to the United States, which may not have an equivalent level of data protection as in your home country.
