See How It Works: Full-Field Peripheral Blood Smear Review from Scan to Sign-Off

Open link

What does it look like to review a peripheral blood smear without ever touching a microscope?

This video walks through the Full-Field digital morphology workflow on Scopio’s X100 and X100HT platforms – from the moment a slide is scanned to the final signed report.

Unlike cell-snapshot systems that capture limited regions of the sample, the Full-Field Peripheral Blood Smear Application digitizes the complete monolayer and feathered edge at 100x resolution using computational photography. The result is a digital slide that lab experts can navigate just as they would a physical microscope – zooming from a full overview of the sample down to the intracellular detail of a single cell – but with the speed and ease of a digital interface.

The AI-powered Decision Support System automatically detects and pre-classifies white blood cells, provides platelet pre-estimation, and supports red blood cell morphology evaluation. Rather than manually searching the slide, the lab professional focuses on verification and clinical decision-making.

Because the entire slide is digitized in full-field, expert review no longer requires physical proximity to the sample. Cases can be accessed, reviewed, and signed off in real time through a secure browser-based connection – ending the era of the “slide taxi.”

The Full-Field Peripheral Blood Smear Application is FDA-cleared and CE-marked.
