What you’ll be doing
As Technology Specialist, you will handle customer technical support cases through phone, email, and chat submissions. You will provide systems support for clients in all business units by troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving, and documenting cases. You’ll become a subject matter expert on all existing and future Scopio products.
What you’ll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the department’s knowledge base and how-to documentation
- Performing field installations and repairs globally
- Testing software updates and conducting regression testing
- Working in a team environment while exercising independent discretion
- On occasion, being on-call and attending to technical issues outside of normal business hours
- Travelling within Israel and internationally 40-60%
Requirements
- Associates degree or technical certificate and at least two years’ experience in a technical support, help desk, or customer service role; or a high school diploma and four years’ experience in a technical support, help desk, or customer service role
- 2+ years of experience with Linux OS
- Experience with Python, C or C++
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Jira
- Understanding of basic network concepts (DHCP, DNS, IPv4)
- Knowledge of WAN and LAN concepts, interfaces, protocols, and topology
- Understanding of computer, electronics, and optics troubleshooting and repair

Physical requirements include:
Requires mobility sufficient to travel. Some bending, stooping and stretching. Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Extensive data input and required ability to sit for long periods of time. Regular and consistent attendance on the job is an essential function.
